About Therme Vals
Editor's note. Therme Vals is a thermal bath in the Swiss Alps designed by the architect Peter Zumthor and opened in 1996. It is built from local quartzite and is famous for its architecture as much as its water. Day access for non-hotel guests is limited, so book ahead.
